My birthday creation for year 36:
Vanilla cake w raspberry and eggnog butter cream filing, night sky mirror glaze, eggnog butter cream moon and sugar pearl stars ☄🥂🍾

It was, however, my first time for mirror glaze and it took me two tries and the first almost melted my cake away although the glaze was cooked of quite a bit. So I put the cake in the freezer, let it totally freeze, poured another turn of mirror glaze on it which then worked a but better and back into the freezer until I had a new batch of butter cream ready for decorating. Decorated with the clock as my enemy, back into the freezer it went lol
So, here’s to hoping that by the time I have to leave for work its god enough to go into the fridge and prefect by the time we are ready to eat it.
There is a first time for everything and the next time I’m a pro at the mirror glaze, be it night sky, galaxy, marbled or what ever else you can think of 🎂😎
